Travel

T is for Travel

Traveling is a part of who I am. Before I was married and "settled" I would have been content traveling forever. Maybe a part of the Peace Corps or something where I could go and volunteer overseas. Love. I got prego three months after we said "I do" so traveling for us never happened, which is cool because we now have a whole new adventure that is the most important thing we will ever do. Yet, the wind calls and I look forward to a time when we can travel and site see the world together.

For now, we've done some local trip and have more planned in the future. I enjoy writing up travel guides and visit guides of places we've been. I'm hoping by the end of this summer to apply to write for Yahoo!Travel. Here are some of the pieces I've done so far:

Best Coffee Hot Spots in Red Wing, MN
Lost in a Good Book(store) in Red Wing, MN
Eagles, a Lake Monster, and Fantastic Food All in a One Day Trip to Lake City, MN
Travel Guide: Three Bears Lodge in Warrens, WI
Travel Guide: Three Bears Lodge in Warrens, WI: Indoor Water Park
Travel Guide: Three Bears Lodge in Warrens, WI: Restaurants

Do you have favorite places to travel? If you could pick just one place, where would you go?

  1. There's a little town in Indiana where my hubby and I like to go for weekends. Nashville. Come think of it, it's been a few years since we've gone--I think it's time to plan a little getaway.

  3. I have a true wanderlust and traveled for years. I love it too, but have settled down now. It would be impossible for me to pick one place!

  5. There are so many places I want to travel to!
I need to appreciate the little travels more. With a little one they are just as exciting as a trip to England.
